A Russian Manicure is a dry technique that uses an e-file for detailed preparation around the cuticle and nail plate. We pair that preparation with structured gel to reinforce the natural nail and create a balanced shape.
Your appointment is tailored to nail condition, length and design. After each client, reusable instruments move through cleaning, disinfection, individual sealed pouches and medical-grade autoclave sterilization before protected storage.

01
What makes the technique different
Russian Manicure describes a detailed dry approach rather than a single fixed sequence. The artist first assesses the natural nail, existing product and surrounding skin, then selects the appropriate tools and level of preparation. Cuticle work, nail shaping, product removal and coating are treated as separate stages. That attention makes it possible to create a clean outline and place color close to the prepared cuticle area without relying on soaking.
02
Your appointment, step by step
The visit begins with an assessment and a conversation about length, shape, previous product and desired finish. Existing material is reduced or removed as appropriate, followed by dry e-file preparation and shaping. If structured gel is selected, the artist builds and refines the architecture before color and top coat. Timing depends on the starting condition and whether you choose simple color, French, chrome, Cat Eye or detailed art.
03
Structure is more than thickness
A polished surface alone does not create a balanced manicure. Product placement must account for the natural nail, stress area, sidewalls and intended length. Our goal is a refined profile with enough support for the selected service—not unnecessary bulk. Because every client arrives with different nails, the final structure and maintenance recommendation are individualized.
04
Preparing for your visit
Please arrive without freshly applied hand oils or creams and tell your artist about lifting, sensitivity, damaged nails or previous reactions before service begins. Bring design references if you have them, but expect the final interpretation to be adapted to your length and shape. After the appointment, use cuticle oil regularly, protect the nails during heavy household work and avoid using them as tools.

Precision shaped by studio experience
Nail Art Department was founded in Hallandale Beach in 2017 by nail artist and educator Siranush Ambartsumian. Detailed dry cuticle care, balanced nail architecture and individual assessment remain central to our Russian Manicure appointments.
Siranush’s work in the salon grew into Nailspiracy professional products and Nailspiracy Academy. Our studio brings that connection to technique, materials and education into everyday client care.
Dry e-file preparation, detailed cuticle work, nail shaping and the selected structured gel finish are included according to the booked service.
How long does the manicure last?
Wear varies with nail condition, length, maintenance and lifestyle. Your artist will recommend a return schedule based on the finished structure and how your nails grow.
Can I book Russian Manicure without color?
Yes. Choose Hygienic Russian Manicure if you want precision dry preparation and grooming without gel polish.
Can you work over product from another salon?
The artist must first assess the condition, adhesion and structure of the existing material. Removal or correction may be recommended and can affect timing and price.
Is nail art available?
Yes. French, chrome, Cat Eye, stamping and custom design are available. Select enough time when booking and bring references for complex work.
How are reusable instruments processed?
They move through cleaning and disinfection, individual sealed pouches, professional autoclave sterilization under pressure and high temperature, and protected storage before use.
Do you accept walk-ins?
