Making and keeping your appointments
No matter what kind of appointment you are making, keep in mind that time has become a precious commodity – both yours and the person you’re making the appointment with. Etiquette for the nail salon is no different than etiquette anywhere else. Don’t intentionally treat others’ time with disrespect. Nail technicians nearly all depend on their appointments to make a living, and when you don’t show up, it’s likely they don’t get paid. Some salons even charge you if you don’t show up. Technicians will usually understand if you have over scheduled yourself and can let them know as soon as you see you aren’t going to make it. The earlier the better, because there’s a chance that the tech can fill the vacancy with someone on a waiting list or with a walk-in customer.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointments are very important to our NAIL ART DEPARTMENT team professionals. We hold your appointments just for you & ask that if you must cancel or reschedule any appointment, please provide us with 24-hour notice. This way, our team of professionals will be able to adjust their schedules accordingly and we may be able to accommodate clients on our waiting list. We do, of course, understand that unavoidable issues come up and will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency, etc. However, if last minute cancellations or ‘no shows’ become a habit, you will be charged a cancellation fee of the full service. Here is our general breakdown of cancellation fees:
- No shows will be charged 100% of service amount.
- When you book an appointment less than 24 hours of service you forfeit your right to reschedule your appointment. So please do not book expecting to change your day of service, You will be charged full price if you do not show up and banned from booking in the future.
- If you fail to reschedule your appointment 24 hours in advance, and you do not show up to your appointment you will be charged for your full service. No acceptations / No excuses
- All deposits are nonrefundable. If you reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, your deposit will transfer over to your rescheduled appointment.
- As a courtesy, we do call, text and/or email to confirm the date and time at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. If we are unable to reach you and only leave a message, or cannot reach you at all, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to avoid missed appointments and cancellation fees. You are always welcome to call and double check any appointments if you’re unsure.
- If you are over 30 minutes late for your appointment, it will be cancelled and you will be charged the full price of all services booked.
- If you show up to your appointment and cancel any service on the day of your appointment , you will be charged full price for any service you cancel.
Late
We will always try our best to accommodate you if you’re running behind, stuck in traffic, etc. It happens, we know! However, your tardiness can affect the remainder of our teams’ day by delaying them for their clients who come in on time. For this reason, we have set a few general ground rules for such situations. Clients will generally be allowed a 15 minute grace period. After that time, there will be a $20 fee added to to your final balance.
Gratuity
We always want you to be 100% satisfied with your services. If you are not 100% satisfied we ask that you let us know before you leave the facility or please contact us within 3 days after your service so that we may schedule you to have your services corrected free of charge. Any issues reported longer than 3 days from the original appointment date will not immediately be considered as a redo but will be assessed on a case by case basis.
ABSOLUTELY !! NO REFUNDS.
Gratuity is not included in the price of service or salon packages, customary tipping runs 15% to 20% but is, of course, at your discretion. You may tip the nail technician immediately after service or upon check out at the front desk with cash, check or credit card.
Cellphone
As a courtesy to others, please silence your cell phones and other devices. Do not use speaker phone, we ask for you to use headphones or text. Thank you.
Pets
Sorry, but by Florida state law, no pets are allowed in a salon.
Child Safety Policy
Our concerns are for the safety of your children. We understand how challenging it is finding time to spend for yourself. We also understand that your “me time” does not always align with your nail appointments. However, our policy strictly prohibits unsupervised children in the salon. In the event you must bring a young child into the salon, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker. Unfortunately the salon cannot provide childcare services. Also, young children in carriers/strollers may not be placed near the service areas or held in the lap. We kindly request ONLY those receiving services be present in the service areas. Older children, (12+) capable of sitting quietly and unsupervised, may wait in the provided seating area. While this policy helps ensure that all guests enjoy a relaxing salon experience, it was created with your child’s safety in mind. Our salon is not child-proof. Sharp instruments, chemicals and a busy, congested area make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children. NAIL ART DEPARTMENT nail technicians and staff are dedicated to providing each of our guests with the highest level of services possible. We greatly appreciate your compliance with our child safety policy Florida.
