Course Program:
Theory + Demonstration + Practice
The class begins with theory on Dual Forms. In the theory section, we cover:
- The difference between Dual Forms
- The parameters of Dual Forms that matter for correct selection
- How to choose forms based on the client’s natural nail architecture
- Proper nail plate preparation: mechanical and chemical
On the student’s hand, I begin with a live demonstration.
We always start with my Russian Manicure technique and nail plate preparation, with a strong emphasis on the manicure technique itself.
After that, we select different types of Dual Forms and build extensions using 5 different forms on one hand. Even though different forms are used, all nails are filed into one final shape – almond.
This helps the student clearly understand the almond filing scheme regardless of the type of form used. It also demonstrates how different forms can be used to achieve one final result and helps the student choose the right forms for a beautiful outcome.
After filing, I demonstrate chrome art chosen by the student. This is an additional benefit of the course – the student may choose any design, and I provide step-by-step instruction on how to create it.
On second half of day we move on to practice with a real model.
On the model, we practice two extension shapes: almond and square. These are the two most common shapes in salon work, which is why they are the focus of the practical part of the class.
The student also practices chrome art during the model work.
You will also receive:
The course includes a starter kit with the essential products and tools needed for the training.
This helps students leave the course not only with knowledge and practical experience, but also with the products needed to continue working after training.
What makes this training different?
This course is designed to give students a clear understanding of Dual Forms, not just a demonstration of the process.
Students learn how to analyze forms, understand their parameters, match them to natural nail architecture, prepare the nail plate correctly, and achieve one clean final result using different types of forms.
The class also includes chrome art as an additional benefit, giving students the opportunity to learn a design of their choice step by step.
